Python for Beginners: 30-Day Roadmap
Go from zero to writing real Python programs in 30 days with daily tasks.
By DigitalNepal · Updated 2026-09-15
Python rewards daily practice. This roadmap needs only a phone or low-end laptop, free tools, and one hour a day.
Steps
1Days 1-7: basics
Install Python, learn print, variables, input, if-else, loops. Write 5 tiny programs daily.
2Days 8-14: data structures
Lists, dictionaries, strings, functions. Build a contact book and a marks calculator.
3Days 15-21: files and errors
File reading/writing, try-except, modules. Build a to-do app that saves to file.
4Days 22-30: mini project
Build one complete project: expense tracker, quiz app, or web scraper with requests.
Good to know: Tutorial hell is real: after day 10, write code from memory before watching solutions.
