How to Load and Withdraw eSewa Balance
Add money from bank or mobile banking, and move wallet balance back to your bank.
By DigitalNepal · Updated 2026-10-04
A wallet is useful only when money moves both ways easily. Loading pulls money in from your bank; withdrawal (bank transfer) pushes it back out.
Steps
1Link your bank first
In the app, link your bank account or connect mobile banking as instructed on screen.
2Load via Load Wallet
Enter the amount, choose the linked bank source, and approve. Start with a small test amount.
3Withdraw via bank transfer
Use the transfer/bank option to move balance back. Verify the destination account shown.
4Check limits in-app
Daily and monthly limits depend on verification level - see the limits screen before large moves.
Good to know: Limits and any charges change. The figures inside your own app are the only ones that matter - ignore forwarded screenshots.

FAQ
Why did my load fail but money left the bank?
Pending loads usually auto-reverse within a few working days. Keep the reference number and raise it in-app if not.
