Steps
1Measure the door
Thickness, backset, grill vs solid, opening direction. Send photos to the seller before ordering.
2Install and align carefully
Misaligned bolts drain batteries and jam. Test 20 smooth cycles after fitting.
3Enroll fingers + codes
Two fingers per person plus a master code stored offline (not in phone notes).
4Plan battery death
Know the 9V jump-start or key override now. Discovering it locked-out at midnight is the classic story.
