Steps
1Install and run auto-config
Download from obsproject.com and run Tools > Auto-Configuration Wizard for your hardware.
2Add 3 sources
Display Capture (screen), Video Capture (webcam), Audio Input (mic). Arrange in the preview.
3Set 1080p 30fps output
Settings > Video: 1920x1080, 30fps. Settings > Output: encoder hardware if available.
4Test-record 1 minute
Record, watch with earphones, fix echo (use headphones) and level (mic near -12dB).
Good to know: Use Display Capture carefully - close private chats and wallets before recording or going live.
FAQ
OBS uses high CPU. Fix?
Use hardware encoder (NVENC/AMF/QuickSync), close Chrome, and cap game fps.
